• Original owners Koi Koi were displaced mainly killed by 25 year tribal war primary by the Zulus.
• The Boers arrived 150 years before the Zulu kingdom was established.

• The Land was purchased from the Koi and smaller tribes who were then wiped out in the 25 year tribal war.
• The Boers were oppressed by the British and essentially Boers were enslaved to provide money and crops for the British empire.

• Everybody practiced slavery at that time. The Zulus also sold other tribes to slave traders , Everybody was complicit in slavery.
